With a list as long as we have, a single day of thanksgiving felt woefully inadequate so we decided to create an Isy B Cayman Thanksgiving Week of Gratitude for us internally to remind ourselves of just how lucky we are, how far we've come, and how many blessings we've had showered on us, individually, and as part of Isy B.
This year alone Isy B.:
- Wore the crown of Designer of the Year at Phoenix Fashion Week.
- Created a capsule collection that was featured on Evine, the third largest home-shopping channel in the USA.
- Was chosen to represent design from the Cayman Islands at Carifesta in Barbados.
- Graced the red carpet at the Cayman Film Festival
- Became available for sale in boutiques across the Caribbean and in the USA
And these are just a few among the many, many things that we're grateful for! But we don't just want to pay lip service to the idea of gratitude. Oh no.
We know that the best way to show gratitude is to give back and we want to give back to our Isy B. Insiders, and fans with real discounts over the week to say THANK YOU for being so awesome. So look out for special discounts throughout this week.
We're giving also back to the community by donating proceeds from our sales during our gratitude week to the Red Cross to aid the rebuilding efforts in the Caribbean after Hurricane Irma.
However, giving need not just be done by offering gifts and donations! Giving back can take the form of recognition and acknowledgement. A kind word, or a compliment. Sharing the love knowing that it gets paid forward. So I want offer a public and very heartfelt thank you my Isy B. team for all their hard work and for coming along with me on this grand adventure.
