Cayman Fashion Week 2015 fast approaches and I am excited to be debuting the Isy B. label as part of the line-up. Where better to launch the Isy B. brand than on the islands that have been my inspiration and my home for the last 10 years.
Cayman Fashion Week was created in 2010 to raise the profile of the Cayman Islands as a fashion and lifestyle destination in the Caribbean, and to showcase trendsetting designers and models from the region. It draws design talent from all over the world as well as fashion design tv celebrities such as Anya Ayoung-Chee and Korto Momolu from Heidi Klum's Project Runway TV show and Cesar Galindo from the Bravo TV show "Fashion Show". Local design talent last year included Norma Ebanks, my favorite local designer and mentor who presented a show stopping collection of the couture looks she is celebrated for, and Melissa Dilbert, Cayman's emerging fashion designer of the year 2012.
Cayman Islands Fashion Week is scheduled for April 19th – 26th, 2015, and we're counting down the days here at Team Isy B.
